Chatbot functionality in Oracle HCM Cloud

Instead of using the traditional method of navigating into Oracle HCM Cloud, you can use the digital assistant on the landing page or use SMS or Facebook on a mobile device to interact with the application in a conversational way.
Instead of navigating through the application and entering data fields, you can enter an absence or expense using the Chatbot functionality provided by the Employee Assistant.
The Oracle Employee Assistant helps your employees do their daily tasks in a much easier and faster way. For example, if an employee wants to check their absence balance, they simply text What is my vacation balance? to Oracle HCM Cloud or enter the question into the application’s employee assistant and the application returns the real-time absence balance.

The assistant can suggest the employee to enter a vacation request as well. Using the URL provided, the employee is instantly transferred to the right page without additional navigation.
Besides absence registration, the Employee Assistant Chatbot also supports many other functions. For example: entering expenses through questions and answers, finding co-workers in the directory, entering goals, manage self-service transactions to be performed by the line manager, search for your pay slips, and salary information.
