With around 15.000 employees Rotterdam is one of the largest municipalities in the Netherlands. The council has a de-centralised structure. It is divided into 13 districts, each having a high degree of autonomy. Furthermore the municipality is made up of 18 independent services.
For the Gemeente Rotterdam a municipality-wide template has been developed for the procurement and purchasing process. This template makes use of the modules Oracle Purchasing and Oracle iProcurement. The template has been implemented within the different services of the Gemeente Rotterdam. The purchasing template has been integrated with the Oracle modules Project Accounting, General Ledger and Accounts Payable.

Our work

During the implementation in 2007 Fit 4 Finance supplied training for all processes within the Oracle E-Business Suite to all users for Gemeente Rotterdam. Fit 4 Finance also supplied the test methodology during the course of the implementation. After go-live Fit 4 Finance supplied after-care activities as well as financial support activities for the administration within the Oracle E-Business Suite. OC-C supplied support activities and optimization of the processes within Oracle E-Business Suite. On top of this OC-C has supplied services on a project based approach.
